Mini Egg Cookies – Easter Recipe!

What you will need:

Ingredients
  • 315g Plain Flour
  • 1 Teaspoon of Baking Soda
  • 1 Teaspoon of Salt
  • 225g Unsalted Butter (Soft, not melted)
  • 150g White sugar
  • 150g Light Brown Sugar
  • 2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Medium Eggs
  • 150g Chocolate Chips
  • 1 Small Bag Cadbury Mini Eggs

  • 2 Bowls
  • Hand Mixer or Wooden Spoon
  • Spatula
  • Baking Tray
  • Oven
  • Tablespoon
  • Parchment Paper
  • Apron
Method
  1. Wash your hands and put on your apron.
  2. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees and let it heat up while you make the cookie dough.
  3. Add 315g flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1 teaspoon of salt into bowl 1 and mix.
  4. In bowl 2, add 225g soft butter, 150g of white sugar, 150g brown sugar and 2 teaspoons of vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  5. Crack eggs into the creamy mixture and stir.
  6. Slowly add the ingredients from bowl 1 into bowl 2 and mix together until everything is combined.
  7. Add 150g of chocolate chips and mix again.
  8. Scoop small balls of dough onto a baking tray.
  9. Press 2 - 3 Cadbury's Mini Eggs on top of each ball of cookie dough.
  10. Put the tray in the oven and bake for 8 - 9 minutes.
  11. Carefully remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool down for 10 minutes.
